Throughout Autumn 2011, Shine linked five of Northamptonshire's finest churches in a historical journey that celebrated the county's unique heritage.
Incorporating large-scale illumination events, community workshops and a series of interactive heritage trails, Shine sought out long gone stories alongside more recent recollections, illuminating not only the buildings, but the communities that have kept them alive for centuries.
The legacy of Shine continues to inspire visitors to explore these outstanding churches, on foot and online.
